Air Belgium is pleased to operate its flights from Brussels Charleroi Airport. It is Belgium’s second airport serving the city of Brussels, with more than 7.7 million passengers passing through every year.
Brussels Charleroi Airport places great emphasis on creating a fast and easy passenger experience. The ease of getting around the airport is the central concern of everyone at the airport.
We recommend arriving 2 or 3 hours before your flight. The registration desks are open 3 hours before departure and close 60 minutes before the flight.
There is plenty of parking. Brussels Charleroi Airport has 8519 parking spaces available across 6 car parks.
You can find information about car park tariffs, as well as reserving a parking space, on the airport’s website.
You will find Brussels Charleroi Airport easy to get to by car, train or by shuttle bus.
At the heart of a vast road network, it’s conveniently located for passengers coming from neighbouring countries (France, Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, The Netherlands and Germany).
Taxi parking is situated in the Express car park, at only 3 minutes from the terminal. Taxis are permanently available.
Different partners work with Brussels Charleroi Airport to facilitate travelling to and from the airport. Direct connections with Belgian cities as well as neighbouring countries are available at regularly scheduled times.
The company Flibco provides bus services to several cities in Belgium at regular intervals.
Departures from Brussels, Ghent, Bruges, Lille and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg are organised for travellers to Brussels Charleroi Airport.

You can travel to Brussels Charleroi Airport from any Belgian train station. A direct bus links Brussels Charleroi Airport to the Charleroi South train station about a 20-minute drive away from the airport.
The price of an SNCB ticket includes the train journey and bus transfer. Tickets can be bought at the automatic ticket machines in the bus car park at the airport.
For an easy and fast check-in, we recommend checking-in online. You can check-in for your flight and reserve your seat at the same time.
This service is available from 24 hours up to 60 minutes before your flight’s scheduled departure time.
After checking-in online, you can choose to either print your boarding pass or receive an electronic version on your mobile.
If you have checked-in online, and have bags to check-in, you can go to the check-in desk no later than 60 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
Travelling with hand luggage only? You can go straight to the boarding zone with your printed boarding pass or your mobile phone version.
Air Belgium passengers can check-in at Terminal 1 counters 2-7. The “baggage drop-off” counter is available for passengers who have already checked-in online. Luggage must be checked in no later than 60 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
At the check-in counter, you’ll be asked to show all your travel documents. After checking-in, you will receive your boarding pass.
Your departure gate, as well as flight details, will be indicated on your boarding pass. We recommend you keep an eye on the information screens in the terminal to check the gate and boarding time.
